Back to School Blues

Back from hiatus! Apologies to my dear readers (that is if I have any), I'm just too busy to blog. Now, get ready for some blogging marathon.

Anyway, it's June once again, and it only means two things: end of the summer season & start of the school year! As much as I wanted to literally go back to school, I look more of a professor now rather than a student. But hey, I can still pass for a minor, and I'm not talking about my height alone.

Here is my back to school look, but mind you, I never wore anything like this back then. I'm more of a CCS type, if you know what I mean.

The Hunger Games

Two reasons why I don't go to movie theaters here in Singapore: 1) My boyfriend/movie date is not here to watch with me and 2) It's too damn expensive. Unlike in the Philippines, it's a luxury for me to go to cinemas just to catch the latest movie. Heck, I've only watched twice during my entire stay here.

So when Hunger Games came out, I couldn't say no. Of course, nakikiuso. Haha!

Before I go on, here's what I wore.

The movie was pretty damn long, but hey, every second was exciting enough to watch. And swear, you would understand the movie even if you haven't had the chance to read the book. Oh, and hands down to the costume director. Feel na feel ko ang pagkabongga ng outfits.

Tagaytay Date

Tagaytay is truly a breath of fresh air just outside the metro. It is one of the country's most popular tourist destinations because of outstanding scenery and cooler climate provided by its high altitude. It overlooks Taal Lake in Batangas and provides one of the iconic views of the Philippines, the view of Taal Volcano Island.

Although the place is undeniably beautiful, it still gives me that sting of fear (due to a very unfortunate event that happened here). Thankfully, I was with my boyfriend. I felt safe.
